Efficiency Improvement of Electric Vehicles By Using Winding-Less Rotor Based DC Motor

In electric vehicles (EVs), efficient energy consumption is very important. Based on demand, different motor technologies are employed by the manufacturers and still evolving. This paper analyses motors utilized in such as DC motor, Brushless (BLDC) AC induction permanent magnet synchronous (PMSM), switched reluctance (SRM), (PM-SynRM). The advantages disadvantages correspond to traction pointed out. main drawback power losses armature windings of that reduce overall efficiency run per charge EV due additional from battery pack. To these losses, authors have proposed a system more rotor been replaced magnets. Therefore, eliminated, reduced pack, subsequently, has increased.
